Spain, I'll support you till the end

My teams fell one by one. Luckilly I never bet on football or else I'm gonna lose teruk teruk! At first I planned to support England coz they are my favourite Euro team of all time. But they got knocked out from the start. Not even a chance for 1 match in Euro! So kesian!

Nevermind, I'll support France pulak. Then I never heard of them since. So forget France la!

I thought about my cute Ronaldo. Yeah, Ill support him all the way. So happy Portugal made it through but when met the stupid Germany, habis!

Then I dunno which team to support d...

Hmmm...why not Italy, the world champion?

Mana tau they missed the penalty. Even the coach resigned...or was he sacked?

No matter what, I'll never ever support Germany. Wished Turky had beaten them. I still have another hero whom I adore very much. He's none other than the blonde Fernando Torres. Luckilly they beat /russia by 3-0 last night. Hope Spain will take the Cup.

Farewell my beloved Portugal...Adeus meu amado Portugal

Poor Ronaldo

Germany beat Portugal 3-2 in the first quarterfinal match of Euro 2008 here on Thursday, braving into the semifinals of the 24-day tournament.

Midfielder Bastian Schwienseiger and sriker Miroslav Klose scored in the first half while captain Michael Ballack regained the lead with a score in the second half to gift Germany of the surprising victory.

Go long piak la Ballack! Kanasai!

Portugal, which finished as winners of the Group A, found face back with two scores, one from captain Nuno Gomes in the 39th minute, the other from Helder Postiga's header in the 87th minute.

In a sold-out St. Jakob Park Stadium, German and Portugal fans witnessed a full-fledged attacking football gala staged by the two teams, both were considered as favorites to the tournament.

German coach Joachim Loew, who was banned from coaching zone by UEFA, made several changes over Germany's lineup.
Schweinsteiger was among the lineup as the Bayern midfielder scored twice in beating Portugal in the third-place play-off at the 2006 World Cup.

Schweinsteiger played very aggressively and became the shining playmaker of the decisive game. Schweinsteiger's penetration and free kicks posed severe threats to Portugal's defense line, contributing to Germany's all three scores.

Football again and again...

World champions Italy on Tuesday, June 17, scraped into the Euro 2008 quarter-finals after beating 10-man France 2-0 in a Group C game in Zurich. The Dutch meanwhile crushed Romanian dreams.
Andrea Pirlo and Daniele De Rossi scored for Italy.

The Azzurri needed help from group winners the Netherlands, who beat Romania in Berne by the same score, even though they played with a second-string side.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Robin van Persie were the goal scorers for the Oranjes.

In Zurich, two-time champions France rushed from one disaster to the next as inspirational midfielder Franck Ribery was carried off with a suspected broken leg in the seventh minute.

In the 25th minute, French defender Eric Abidal was sent off for a tackle in the area on Luca Toni, and Pirlo made no mistake from the resulting spot kick.

There was no coming back for the French, and De Rossi's 62nd-minute goal, which deflected off French captain Thierry Henry, made no difference as the French had been all but counted out at that stage already.

I am Hulk..Don't mess with me!

Last Sunday, Mr. Lee and I went to Cathay Cinemax in Prangin to watch incredible hulk. Overall, I think it's exciting and humourous at some scenes. Felt that the baby faced Norton is kinda cute but not charming and macho.

The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world's most primal force of fury: THE INCREDIBLE HULK. We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. I would rate it 6/10.

Camwhoring again in the suckie car...

He think he's strong, let's see how lah!

Portugal is Relaxing

Pride restored

Though it was not enough to take them off the bottom of Group A, the win restored pride in a side who had been left with little else to play for after opening the tournament with successive defeats.

Yakin struck on 71 minutes then again from the penalty spot with seven minutes left. Prior to that, a second-string Portugal team – featuring only three starters from their previous victory – had made enough chances to win the game, although they should be back at full strength when they return here for Thursday's quarter-final.

Köbi Kuhn was overseeing his last match in charge of Switzerland and he recalled the ever-popular 37-year-old goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbühler for his first taste of UEFA EURO 2008™ while midfielder Johan Vonlanthen replaced Tranquillo Barnetta. Though there was nothing at stake in the group, Switzerland fans were determined to give Kuhn and his side a rousing send-off and they were in full voice early on.

Portugal, though, were giving more reason to cheer. Luiz Felipe Scolari's reserves were playing for their places and Ricardo Quaresma showed his credentials on seven minutes with a delightful pass flicked from behind his standing leg which Hélder Postiga headed wide. Ten minutes later Nani caught the eye, firing a low free-kick into the box to Pepe whose touch was spectacularly tipped on to the bar by Zuberbühler.

Give and take

It was not all one-way traffic, however. On 19 minutes, goalkeeper Ricardo pushed a Gökhan Inler effort over before blocking Valon Behrami's shot with his legs. In an entertaining encounter, chances were coming thick and fast, and just before the half-hour Ricardo was again pressed into action to palm away Yakin's header. With the latter stages of the competition in mind, Scolari brought on Jorge Ribeiro – brother of Maniche, a star of the 2004 finals – for Paulo Ferreira in the 41st minute as the Chelsea FC full-back had been booked.
The breakthrough finally came on 71 minutes when Eren Derdiyok's deft touch slipped Yakin in behind the Portugal defence and the 31-year-old rifled the ball beyond Ricardo. Yakin made sure of the points after 83 minutes with a powerfully struck penalty after Fernando Meira had impeded Barnetta's run in the box. That left St. Jakob Park buzzing, yet it is the Portuguese who live to fight another day.

Italia non è più eccitante

Italy still fresh from the 0-3 lost to Netherlands while Romania is sitting pretty in Group C with 1 point after their opening goal-less draw against France.

Many Italian fans are in a shocked after their dismal display, Defensively, the Italians were poor. Since when do we get a chance to criticize Italian defence? Not often though!
So Donadoni better revamp his team quick, if not Italy will go home very soon. I am confident Donadoni will bring in Del Piero for this match.

Meanwhile, the Romanian will be confident ahead of their match against the Italians. Romania will be looking for their first win over Italy since 19 years ago in a friendly in Sibiu.
Once again, Romania will be banking on top hit-man Adrian Mutu to produce the goals.
Oh yeah, this match takes place on Friday the 13th and id the 13th match of the 13th European Championship. However, the unlucky number for Italy is 17! I don’t know why.. Anybody knows why 17 is the unlucky number for Italy?

Apoio Portugal no Euro 2008 (descobrir o que isso significa)

Oh my, I watched the whole match last night! I normally don't do that unless it is World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo está tão quente!
Here is a brief report i edited from Bloomberg.

Portugal Reaches Euro 2008 Quarterfinals as Switzerland Exits
By James Cone

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Portugal became the first team to reach the quarterfinals of soccer's European Championship as co- host Switzerland was knocked out by an injury-time goal.
Portugal, seeking its first major title, beat the Czech Republic 3-1 in Geneva yesterday after Cristiano Ronaldo scored one goal and set up another. Turkey will vie with the Czechs for the other quarterfinal spot from Group A after defeating Switzerland 2-1.

Love Ronaldo's style and techniques. He has a charm of its own.

Deco's Opener
Portugal took an eighth-minute lead with Deco's fourth goal in 55 international appearances. The Brazil-born midfielder scrambled the ball in after goalkeeper Petr Cech blocked Ronaldo's shot and initially thwarted Deco.
The Czechs tied it nine minutes later, when Sionko scored with a diving header from a Jaroslav Plasil corner.

You are hot!I love you Cristiano! You turn me on!

Baros, without a goal since Dec. 22, again was unable to turn the ball in from close range as a Tomas Ujfalusi header flashed across the goal after 61 minutes.

First-time Shot
Portugal was ahead less than a minute later. Ronaldo, who is being courted by Real Madrid, ran onto a pass from Deco and struck a low first-time shot into the corner of the net.
Koller joined Baros as the Czechs searched for a goal to tie the match. Sionko came closest with a 10-yard header, which goalkeeper Ricardo tipped over the crossbar. Ronaldo broke through in injury time and passed for Quaresma to tap in.

Victory! But for now only..you still have few matches to go.

In today's matches, Germany and Croatia meet in Group B after both winning their opening games. Austria, the other co- host, faces Poland.

Got my Sem2 Results

Just checked my second semester results yesterday. Oh, before I forget, let me inform to those who don't know me personally that I am currently enrolled in Northern University of Malaysia (UUM) doing Computer Science majoring in Software Engineering.

You might ask why am I not blogging about the latest software technologies or cool gadgets or programming tips watsoever. It's because I am not really interested in all these stuffs though I am considered good at programming. I love fashion (but cant update myself all the time or else I'll be broke!) and beauty stuff but not that much in to make up coz I'm horrible in it. My dream is to be in the finals for Miss World or Miss Universe someday. Yeah, keep on fantasizing...

Back to my results, I expected maybe some B- and few Cs to pop out but lo and behold As emerged instead! I stared at each subjects for quite some time to believe it. I know I did very badly in my finals coz I sort of left the hall early and there were blanks here and there in the question paper.

Most pointers for particular subjects were predictable like getting As for Kenegaraan, Hubungan Etnik and Basic Enterpreneurship; B+ for Advance programming and System Organization. But there were two subjects which I thought should be opposite of each other. I got C+ for Process Writing and A for Artificial Intelligence (which I never heard anyone got an A before).

Ah, my CGPA is exactly the same as last semester which is 3.62 . Not enough for a first class but I am really satisfied. Here are some photos of me with my dean cert around March 2008.

Regrets

This afternoon I received a call from Pretty Busy Talent Management asking if I am free during weekends. Sad enough to say that I'll be off to UUM, Kedah by July. That is why I am always a freelance model. No contracts or agencies allowed. I can only do about 3-5 days shoot or one month event contracts during my holidays. So for those seeking talents, these are just some of my simple requirements. Oh, 1 more..this is very important..NO NUDES! The furthest I can go is swimsuits and bikini (of course with a bottom or G-string lah).

This candid pic I like very much. The rest are yuckie!

Estee Lauder Model Search 2008

Got the looks? Got the poise? Got the dream?

Nope! I have none of the above...just wanna join for fun
However, I have the guts to give it a try this year. There are 2 categories, one for below 30 and the other for 30 and above. First saw the commercial on tv before my last paper which is Hubungan Etnik. Not a tough paper la, just mcq but too bad i do not own the new version textbook. Most questions were based on the book and didn't expect questions bout homo sapiens and watever species thinging would come out!
OK OK back to my Model Search...

Step 1: Booking, Payment & Registration.

The roadshow in Penang was held in Queensbay Mall from 29 May - 1 June 2008. 26 - 28 June was just for promotion. So i made a booking on 28 May and pay on the same day (RM 300 fly away) as I was told that I'll be receiving an additional A4 portrait if I pay before 29th.
So on the 31st which was a Saturday at 3.15pm, Me and my husband arrived at South Atrium, Queens. Then register and fill in the Entry Form at the counter.
After filling in, the counter girl or shall i call her a receptionist didn't even tell me to wait and inform how many more to go before my turn. So I just stood and waited. Later she told me to redeem my goodies in Jusco but the salesgirl in Jusco said I should just wait until I finish make up to know what products to redeem. So wait, wait and wait again...
Finally the receptionist called me for my turn. Yeah, at last!

What previous year participants said were true, the staffs there weren't friendly and everything was in a rush.

Step 2: Make up Consultation and Process by Estee Lauder

My make up artist came up to me and gave me a brief consultation about my skin and what kind of make up should I be using. She did not even introduce herself so I make my move by telling her my name and age and occupation then move on to my skin imperfections. She said I'm very young and my skin is so fair. This made me very happy!

She suggested smoky eye so I agreed as long as you work your magic. I think no need to elaborate on the process la...

Step 3: Apparel by Eclipse

Actually the hairdo comes after make up but they told me to redeem my products, door gifts and vouchers first and then slip into my desired dress so that i won't waste time on waiting again. Yes, they do number you like when you do your IC or in bank.
Here they are, my goodies...

They showed me all available apparels and i scouted out a tube dress on my own coz I've surveyed what most participants would wear and even registered as a member of Eclipse.

Me waiting patiently on the couch for the next step.........

Step 4: Hairdo by Pick A Brush Academy

Like everyone said, they won't cut your hair. On the row dressing tables were just some sprays and straighteners thet can be used as curlers! My hair was curled in to what my stylist called 'mermaid style' using a straightening iron. Then she spray and spray...

Step 5: Photoshoot and Photoshop

Waited for my number to be called again. This time, practically everyone around that section of the mall was looking at me after the full makeover. I felt like an alien. Where to hide my face??? Dwayne Foong did not come to this event but i guessed the photographer looked like David Theam. Correct me if I'm wrong ya.

So ma do all pose as directed lor...Just 12 poses. Nothing much here.
Then the interesting part is watching my ugly fat face and not so large eyes transformed using Photoshop. Paid additional RM100 for a package consisting lamination and frame of the A4 portrait and a softcopy of all the 12 unedited photos.
Enough of my long great-grandmother story, let you see my photos la

Penang and Johor Bahru semi-finalists will be posted here by 15 June 2008.
I've no idea if the judges will even think about putting me through. Gosh! I was supposed to get the experience and have some fun, not worrying bout the contest at all ma....

Standing pose. Aiseh!
That's all for today, maybe few days later I'll add some more of my pics la.

Pet Fan Club

I first established an account in Friendster in June 2004. It was my personal account to connect with long lost friends as well as my schoolmates. Then in the year 2006 my tangan gatal simply press this press that...then my personal account became a fanclub!

I didn't care much about that but i realised that my friends became less and less due to this 'fanclub'. Well, I don't wanna be a fan of nobody also lah.I'd rather be a fan of Paris Hilton and Alicia Keys than unknown Alicia Pound. To solve this problem, I thought about what interests most people....Pets!

I am a pet lover myself especially cute fluffy long furred dogs, like my Bruno. As soon as my so called Alicia Club evolved to Pet Fan Club, the number of fans shoot up amazingly. I was delighted so i dedicated the whole profile specially for pets. We have recruited a few volunteer staffs to organise this non-profit Club. The official website was launched in October 2007. You can click on the green banner above to be directed to our link or go to http://petfanclub.googlepages.com

Thank you for supporting us and we will keep you updated about pet infos.

It doesn't matter if you own a dog, cat, hamster, guinea pig, chicken, iguana, tarantula, snake, horse etc.. as long as you call them 'pet', you are most welcome to join this club.

This is our Friendster link http://profiles.friendster.com/aliciadagreat

Love your pets as they love us tm.
